How to Order a Zillow Showcase Listing: A Step-by-Step Guide for Utah Agents

Zillow Showcase listings get more views, more saves, and more leads — but the ordering process trips up a lot of agents. Here's exactly how to set one up, from creating the listing to connecting your Cedar Real Estate Media shoot.

If you've been hearing about Zillow Showcase but haven't pulled the trigger yet — or you've started the process and gotten confused halfway through — this guide is for you. As a Zillow-certified photographer serving Cedar City, St. George, Kanab, and Southern Utah, I walk agents through this process all the time. Let me break it down step by step.

New to Zillow Showcase? Before diving into the ordering process, check out our earlier post: What Is Zillow Showcase and Is It Worth It for Cedar City Realtors? It covers what the format includes, what it costs, and whether it makes sense for your market.

What You Need to Order

Before you can activate a Showcase listing, you need Showcase-qualified media. Zillow requires all three of the following:

  • HD photography — standard phone photos won't qualify
  • A virtual tour (Matterport 3D walkthrough)
  • An interactive floor plan — this is not optional

At Cedar Real Estate Media, our Zillow Showcase package covers all three in a single shoot. Lee Webb captures the photography, Matterport scan, and floor plan together, then delivers everything through Aryeo — which connects directly to your Zillow Pro account. No chasing down files, no compatibility issues.

Step 1: Create the Listing in Zillow Pro

Log in to your Zillow Pro account and click "Add listing" in the upper right corner of your home page. Search for the property address or enter it manually.

You can optionally add the seller's name and contact info at this stage. Make sure you add the listing agent whose details will appear on the live Showcase listing — this matters for your branding on the page.

Click "Add listing" to create the record.

Step 2: Order Showcase

Inside the listing, look for the "Up next" section and click "Order Showcase & media."

You'll be prompted to enter the listing price and select a payment method. Depending on your account type and subscription level, you may see a few different options:

  • Use an available Showcase listing — if you have credits on your account
  • Use your own payment method — purchase a new Showcase credit
  • Use a Showcase listing from seller connections — applies only to Zillow seller connection listings

Select your option and click "Submit Payment." You'll get confirmation that the listing is ready for Showcase.

Step 3: Connect Your Media

After payment, click "Get media" to begin attaching your listing content.

If your media is delivered through Aryeo — which is how every Cedar Real Estate Media shoot is packaged — Zillow will automatically pull in the photos, virtual tour, and floor plan tied to that address. Select the media and click "Submit." Your listing will move into "Creating Showcase" status.

If the media doesn't appear automatically, you can enter your photographer's email address and Zillow will send them a direct upload link. Once uploaded, the listing flips from standard to Showcase automatically.

Flipping an Existing Listing to Showcase

Already have a live listing and want to upgrade it? You can do that too.

Log in to Zillow Pro, click "Order Showcase & media," and search for the existing address. You'll need a Showcase credit (same as a new listing), and you'll need qualifying media already in hand — or you can order new media at this step.

If Lee Webb already shot the property and delivered through Aryeo, select "No, I have all the required media" and Zillow will pull it in automatically from the address on file.

Note: If you run into technical issues flipping a listing to Showcase, reach out to Zillow support at [email protected].

Why the Media Step Is the Most Important One

Here's where agents get stuck: they order Showcase, then scramble to find a photographer who can deliver in the right format. Not every photographer is set up on Aryeo or certified to shoot Showcase-qualifying media.

Lee Webb at Cedar Real Estate Media is Aryeo-connected and Showcase-ready. Every shoot — photos, Matterport, and floor plan — is packaged and submitted in a format Zillow accepts. You activate Showcase, we handle the rest.

If you have a listing coming up in Cedar City, St. George, Kanab, Brian Head, or anywhere in Southern Utah, book your Showcase shoot here and we'll make sure everything is ready to connect the moment you need it.
